Ms. Nisan Superville

16th Episcopal District NGO Liaison

Presiding Prelate - Bishop Marvin Clyde Zanders II Episcopal Supervisor - Mrs. Winifred Zanders

Episcopal WMS-AMEC President - Ms. Regina Prince

South America, Caribbean, and London

Areas of Focus

Increasing support of the NGO through key partnerships with my Supervisor, Episcopal President, Conference Presidents and if appointed, a NGO Liaison in each country/conference of the District.

Understanding the role of NGO Liaison will raise awareness to global issues and concerns that affect women and children.

Educating and advocating for women rights will bring the legislative concerns of The WMS and by extension the AMEC as a body or church that upholds rights for women to the forefront.

Goals

  • To educate others on the NGO and the role of the NGO LiaisonTo gain advocates in each country of the 16th District to partner with this NGO LiaisonTo create partnerships with relevant agencies and organizations within each country and the UN

 Key Issues

  • The WMS NGO Liaison role and function within the 16th Episcopal District is not well-known due largely to language barriers and lack of awareness. Unifying voices on the issues and rights of women, as the WMS of the AMEC, in each country or conference within the District. Working with women activist groups, agencies within the 16th District and various legislations that vastly impacts the rights of women.
  • This major thrust asserts our beliefs that any injustice done to women and children will not be tolerated and various measures to prevent such intolerances should be implemented.
