B Peters Bio

Brittni A. Peters

A daughter, a godmother, a missionary sister and a friend with a servant’s heart. Proud member of Allen Memorial AME Church in Brooklyn, NY (of the First Episcopal District), where Rev. Vernon H. Peters is the Pastor, Brittni has served on all levels of the AME Church, including Connectional Asisstant Recording Secretary of the YPD and 2 terms on the Episcopal Committee. Currently Brittni serves as Local YPD Director of the Vernel Benjamin WMS, where Lady Peters is the Advisor. She also serves as the Project Coordinator of Operation H.O.P.E, which is a Hands On Outreach Program Equipping New York, servicing hundreds of destitute and impoverished families on a monthly basis and coordinating events with city funded organizations to further serve her community.

Brittni also operates in her professional life as Case Manager for young adult detainees at Rikers Island Jail providing life skills, court advocacy and support for their transitions back into the community. Most recently Brittni has taken her skills and love for children to another level, publishing her first children’s book entitled: Dream Big Alicia, empowering young girls to dream and live with no limitations.

On her spare time Brittni loves reading, traveling and remaining hands on in the community to lend a helping hand wherever she can, which has now extended globally in her new role as UN NGO Alternate Representative. Brittni truly believes she has been called for such a time as this and remains encouraged knowing that all things work together for the good of those who love God and have been called according to his purpose.

Most importantly, Brittni is proud to follow in the footsteps of her mother Lady Peters who serves effortlessly, her grandmother Vernel Benjamin who taught her what it means to serve, and the Late Mother Lucinda Belin whose teachings to serve with grace will forever be etched in her heart.
