SDGs #3,4,16
SDGs #1, 2, 3, 4, 6 & 16
The WMS-NGO advocates unleashing the power to change the lives of women and children through global and local initiatives.
Mom’s In Prayer
Mom’s In Prayer program, in the State of South Carolina we’ve developed prayer teams with nearly 200 schools looking to increase the numbers within the next year. Each team meets once a week to pray for the safety of students, teachers and staff. We stand firm in God’s power as he unleashed as we pray for our children and schools. Whether you’re sending your litle one off to kindergarten for the first time, navigating the teen years, or experiencing an empty nest, you love your children and desire God’s best for them. God is moving in the lives of our children and schools as mom’s, grandma’s and women who have a heart for the next generation gather for one hour each week in united, scriptual prayer. SDGs #3,4,16
Community Gardens
We have been working diligently in our community’s starting vegetable and flower gardens. We had so much joy playing in the dirt again. Enjoyment working together boosting everyone’s moral with anticipating the outcome. SDGs #1, 2, 3, 4
MDA - Mother’s Demand Action against Guns
The 7th Episcopal District Christian Debutant’s and Master’s monthly meetings are receiving helpful information from a representative from our local County Police Departments on safety in school. They shared vital information on dangerous weapons such as guns or any type of weapon that may cause harm to someone. Guns are not allowed on school campuses or anywhere. The sole purpose of attending school is to receive your education and to become law abiding citizens. He explained it is also very important to report seeing or knowing of someone with a weapon report to the school principal, teacher, or any adult immediately. The children were very receptive in receiving and answering questions. We also spoke about bullying as well; the children engaged in the conversation by answering questions and asking answering questions. The meeting was very
informative and knowledgeable for the students, parents, and commissioners. SDGs #1, 2, 3, 6, 16
Compassion International
7th Episcopal District WMS Village has taken part in letter writing along with sponsoring children and their families from abroad: Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Haiti. We are to teach them the word of God, encourage them to study their school lesson, love each other, to obey their parents and do their chores. We are so excited about sharing our love and compassion towards the children and families. God Bless our leadership for giving us the opportunity to share the love, uplift, and compassion to do God’s work. This is the true meaning of becoming a missionary.
God Lov es ALL The Little Children as well as their families. SDGs # 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8
